Photo Competition 2017

We love photos, despite the weather and physical challenge of the Maamturks. We often get some beautiful photos from our participants. Connemara has a rugged beauty and between the rain, hail sleet and snow there can be rare glimpses of an unseen side of Ireland.

This year, we’re going to reward you for capturing this beauty. For the 2017 Maamturks Challenge, we’ll be hosting our first photo competition. If you take a great photo on this year’s event, email it to us and we’ll select a short list of the best photos. Then we’ll upload those to our Facebook page and have a public vote to crown the winning photo for 2017. Photos need to be emailed to Maamturks@nuigmc.com no later than 1.00pm on Friday the 14th of April.

The winning photographer will receive a  guaranteed free spot on the 2018 Maamturks Challenge. No queuing for your tickets!
